On September 16h, Gallagher Way is hosting the Annual Bag Brawl! Bring your own partner for a chance to win some serious cash, and bragging rights.
Format: The tournament will have two phases. All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 5 games.
Phase one:
Rounders. Rounders is a modified version of round robin, will be used to place teams into tiers with teams of equal skills for a playoff bracket. Teams will play a minimum of 4 rounds for placement. The current plan is three tiers (A/B/C), however, they will scale the number of tiers up depending on the number of teams who have signed up. This will be at the discretion of the organizers.
Phase two:
Bracket play. All teams compete in bracket play after the rounders phase is complete. The A division will be a double-elimination bracket. All other divisions will be single-elimination.
