Spring finally feels like it has arrived! Enjoy the sunshine Chicago! This weekend is the start of Craft Beer Week, so beer lovers rejoice! Otherwise, there are a lot of great events going down this weekend. Check it out!
Tacky Tanktop and Yacht Club Bar Crawl
Every December, Wrigleyville get’s taken over for a day with bar crawlers decked out in Christmas attire for TBOX (Twelve Bars of Christmas). Well, for the first time, the creators of TBOX invite you to the first annual Tacky Tanktop and Yacht Club Bar Crawl! Going on this Saturday, hop from bar to bar in Wrigley in your fanciest yacht attire, or your tackiest tank top.
Participating bars include most of your Clark Street staples, like: The Sandlot, Dugout, Country Club, Vines on Clark, Roadhouse 66, The Irish Oak, and Stretch.
There will be a contest going on during the crawl, with the grand prize being a Lake Michigan Tiki Boat Cruise for 12! All bar crawl attendees will recieve a tanktop that says “I got Tanked in Wrigley”. Tickets are still on sale, but only a limited number of attendees are allowed, so grab yours fast!


Crawfish Boil
Spring is crawfish season! There have been crawfish boils going on all over the city, and this Saturday you can catch one in Wrigleyville!
Country Club in Wrigley is hosting their boil from 1 – 4 pm, enjoy all-you-can-eat crawfish and all-you-can-drink draft beer for $40. Grab your ticket ahead of time and happy eating!
NOLA Bar and Kitchen is also hosting a boil this Saturday! From 2 pm to 4 pm, it cost $15 per tray and an additional $5 for fix-ins. This boil is going to be first come first served!
Pup Prom

What is cuter than puppies in tuxedos? Trick question, the answer is NOTHING! On Sunday, Rizzo’s is teaming up with The Chicago French Bulldog Rescue for Pup Prom.
“Join us for a “Pup Prom” themed event at Rizzo’s. We will have a fun-filled day of raffles, silent auctions, and photo ops. A pup prom King and Queen will be crowned and prizes will be awarded. So make sure your pup is dressed in their best! There will be a Special guest performance by John Vincent, Cubs Anthem singer, and entertainer.”
Don’t miss out on this adorable fun event, and don’t forget to bring Fido.


Craft Beer Week Begins

See Front Line Assembly Live

This Saturday night, Front Line Assembly is coming to The Metro! The Canadian electro-industrial band is on tour and you do not want to miss their Chicago set. Since forming, the group has produced over a dozen studio albums and EPs, several of which have charted on Billboard‘s Top Dance/Electronic Album chart.
Joining them, are openers Rein and Choke Chain.
Tickets are still on sale! Doors open at 8 pm and the show begins at 9 pm. Tickets are priced at $30.


Stacked Weekend at Sidetrack

Saturday: It’s time for the annual Eurovision Song Contest Chicago Viewing Party! Watch the finals live on the Sidetrack Big Screens starting at 2 pm! Cheer on competitors from across the globe in the 66th edition of this talent show that helped launch the careers of ABBA, Olivia Newton-John, Celine Dion, and more.
Sunday: Sunday Funday Show Tunes are a Sidetrack Tradition. Every Sunday, enjoy Show Tunes from 4-7 pm with your favorite Broadway and Movie Musical videos! Enjoy Party Music in Back and Deck Bars all day.

Replay in Lincoln Park is infamous for hosting great pop-ups in their arcade bar, with elaborate decorations and specialty drink lists to fit the theme. This weekend is the LAST weekend of their current popup, Shrek!

Burlesque, Drag, and Variety Show

This Saturday, catch some of Chicago’s finest burlesque, belly dance, drag, and variety entertainers plus screenings of incredible digital content, played live in this hour-long show.

Drag Brunch

Mark your calendars! This Saturday, Roscoe’s is hosting a drag brunch their calling Eggs Y Z. Start your Saturday morning with drag, dancing, and enjoying hits from the 90’s & 00’s.
